Pakistan have started their compaign with a clash against Hong Kong , a thumbing 8 wicket win against Hong Kong in their first match at Dubai Internatioanl Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Imam-Ul-Haq (50) and Shoaib Malik (9) , pakistan comfortably chased down a patry traget of 117 runs with 158 balls remaining.
Pakistan after loosing the toss, bowlers tore apart the hong Kong batting lineup with a superb display. Wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals as Pakistan bowlers gave no opportunity to Hong Kong batsman to rebuild after a troubled start.

this would be enough to encourage Hong Kong to show their mettle as they lay their first Aisa Cup since 2008. in 2008 both team faced each other where Pak scored 288/9 in 50 overs but Hong Kong wrapped up just 133 in the 38th overs.
Hong Kong were 33/4 but a 53 run partnership for sixth wicket between Kinchit Shah (26) and Aizaz Khan (2/19) helped to cross 100 run.
Usman khan took 3 wickets for just 19 runs, Hasan Ali (2/19) and Shadab Khan (2/31) shared four wickets between them. Faheem Ashraf ended with 1/10.
In the second innings, Pakistan lost 2 wickets of Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam.
Chasing what should have been an achievement traget, Sri Lankan chase never really gained any momentum and they were dismissed for 124 runs in 35.2 overs.
