Europe's football governing body stated that, they have initiated a disciplinary case over Cristiano Ronaldo's controversial red card int he Champion League, reported by AFP news agency.
Cristiano Ronaldo was shown red card for a tussle with opponent in the 29th minute of the group H match between Juventus and Valencia.
Portugal Super start fell to the ground in disbelief and then yelled into the air in frustation, although it was 11th red card of C Ronaldo's career, but first in the Champion League.
The UEFA panel studies all the red card cases and has the power to extend the mandatory one game plan.
However, it would be interesting to note if the ban is extended to two match, A ten man Juventus , however defeated their opponent as Miralem Pjanic successfully converted two spot kicks, eventually leading the Bianconeri to a 2-0 victory.
