Adil Rashid and Tom Curran shared seven wickets between them to restrict Sri Lanka to 150-9 in the 21 overs a side contest. Visitor surpassed the total in 18.3 overs to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the five match series.
Skipper Eoin Mrogan smashed his second half century in two games while A Rahid took faur wickets to help England register a crushing win over Sri Lanka at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Morgan remained on 58 of 49 to give England their second successive win after the opening match was washed out in a series hit by the Sri Lankan mansoon.

Sril Lanka had won the toss, Niroshan Dickwella and Sadeera Samarawickrama took the attack to the bowlers as the hosts reached 50 runs in 28 balls.
N Dickwella, scored 36 and looking to loft Curran out of the ground, mistiming his shot to be caught by Chrish Woakes at mid off. Kushal Mendis departed first ball of Rashid. Skipper D Chandimal joined and shared 35 runs.
Rashid dismissed Thisara Parrera for duck with the next ball before Curran removed Dhananjaya de Silva and hosts early momentum faded away.
Sri Lank now need to win the remaining two matches to at least draw level the series, the fourth ODI in scheduled in Kandy on Saturday.
